Jay” Jones was born on August 28, 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a 29 year old emcee/songwriter, who at the early age of 9, wrote her first song. This was something she would continue to do for the rest of her life in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. When she was 19, she moved to Brooklyn where she suddenly felt she had a bigger purpose. A few years later she started to take her music and lyrics more serious. In 2013 she met her producer K.Ugbomah p/k/a See Born (who is the producer of her debut project). The rest will be history.
